Custom Wood Designs & Mfg. was established in 1979 by Jimmy D. McDonald and incorporated in 1995 as JDM Designs, Inc.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Jim moved to Houston in 1973 to attend the University of Houston, majoring in Graphic Communications: Illustration and Advertising. He has applied his creative talents and skills to develop a very unique sign business.
JDM Designs Inc. offers complete sign packages and provides these services throughout the United States. We are a member of the Houston Apartment Association (HAA), National Apartment Association (NAA) and the United States Sign Council (USSC). JDM Designs Inc. is licensed, bonded and insured with the City of Houston as well as others throughout the country. All of our products are constructed using the best quality materials and methods available.
